A journey to Reminisce

In our field trip the amenities in every itineraries that we go provided by the facilitators was very good. Kudos to the staff and facilitator of our field trip it was an excellent job. If I were going to give a points to every places that we have go considering the facilities and their creative way of comments. First, the Mowelfund Museum which is a great place if you were interested in the history of Philippine cinemas together with the actors and actresses who do their remarkable roles during their brilliant years. You can also see their props used in their notable films they do during their emerging years. There is a small gathering at first where they entertain us through a small production. Kudos to the staff who temporarily entertain us. I will give 4 points for this place. Next, we went to the second itinerary which is the Metropolitan Museum wherein we see the Mohon or the place marks used by some famous Filipino artist is designing some famous architectures and landmarks. We also see some noble works of the famous Filipino artist in different years. Kudos to a job well done touring inside the museum and for the brief explanation they provide. I will give 4 points for this place. Then, the third itinerary is the Bahay Tsinoy wherein we tour around their museum and explains to us how Chinese community ties our relationship in our country and their contributions in the Philippine history. It was nice I will give 3 points for this place. Lastly, we came to the Art in Island Museum which is our last itinerary this would probably the place that I have been enjoyed the most especially the light show. Kudos to the artists who have been hardworking for painting all those stuffs inside the museum. I will give 4 points. Overall review for all the itineraries it was been fun and nice. Excellent!

What’s the best thing that a student should do after a stressful school work? After all those mind-wrecking and brain-damaging exams and quizzes? Those sleepless nights, all the efforts and everything? It is a well-deserved rest or in short, FIELD TRIP. Sharing with you our adventures inside Metro Manila and some of its museum that taught us something about the past. Let’s start off with the first destination which is the Mowelfund Museum. This place will welcome you with a refreshing view because of the trees and grass that gives the place a light and enjoyable feeling. Then we entered the building and we were serenaded by Xyruz Cruz, a GMA Artist then we proceeded to the museum. I find the museum really amazing and entertaining because it tells something about the past that we just heard from our parents and we’re unable to experience most of it. From the movie posters of well-known movies, to the extraordinary costumes and props like Filipiniana, Barong and Darna's remar...

A journey to the heart of art

Being a typical high school-er, I thought I lost interest about the field trip ever since I knew that there won't be and amusement park in the itinerary and the only ride we'll experience is the bus. As HUMSS students, we were assigned to visit dull and tedious museums—that's why I   refrained myself from anticipating. That's what I thought. Not until we arrived to our second destination—the Metropolitan Museum. Covered with crystal clear glass and squeaky clean tiles that you can already see your reflection. This museum, in my most honest opinion, was the highlight of the trip. If you're an art enthusiast, I would highly recommend you to visit the Metropolitan Museum. It is a home for aesthetically-pleasing artworks that will definitely satisfy your eye. The tour will offer you an exclusive privilege to witness the evolution of Filipino art. Unfortunately, the only downside of the museum is that taking photos, even without flash, is prohibited. ...
