I woke up at 4:00 am for arranging my things and I took a bath and went to Jollibee to buy a lunch for a fieldtrip then I went to school. On our bus I just slept the whole time because I was sleepy, most of my classmates were sleeping because some of them didn’t got a wink of sleep.

The places we went for our fieldtrip was really exciting and surprising. I’ve never been into a museums, mowel fund, and etc. It was really fun. I learned a lot in the places we went. The first place we went to, was mowel fund. There were vintage movies and films. Pictures and posters were posted on walls inside the museum. There was an uprising actor, Xyrux Cruz, he was a great singer and good-looking also. The second one museum, was Metropolitan Museum, it was a contemporary place. It was full of gorgeous arts and peculiar paintings. Metropolitan Museum was my favorite part of the fieldtrip, I fell in love with the paintings. The third place we went to was Bahay Tsinoy, the staffs were a bit strict with the wax figures and the articles but it was exciting knowing the history about Filipino and Chinese. The last place we went to was Art In Island, it was our last destination for our fieldtrip. The walls were full of canvas, everywhere you look. The most magical thing that happened, was the animation presentation in Art In Island. The most memorable that happened in our fieldtrip was I got the chance to know my classmates more and I learned a whole new lot of knowledge from the places we went to.

What’s the best thing that a student should do after a stressful school work? After all those mind-wrecking and brain-damaging exams and quizzes? Those sleepless nights, all the efforts and everything? It is a well-deserved rest or in short, FIELD TRIP. Sharing with you our adventures inside Metro Manila and some of its museum that taught us something about the past. Let’s start off with the first destination which is the Mowelfund Museum. This place will welcome you with a refreshing view because of the trees and grass that gives the place a light and enjoyable feeling. Then we entered the building and we were serenaded by Xyruz Cruz, a GMA Artist then we proceeded to the museum. I find the museum really amazing and entertaining because it tells something about the past that we just heard from our parents and we’re unable to experience most of it. From the movie posters of well-known movies, to the extraordinary costumes and props like Filipiniana, Barong and Darna's remar...

A journey to the heart of art

Being a typical high school-er, I thought I lost interest about the field trip ever since I knew that there won't be and amusement park in the itinerary and the only ride we'll experience is the bus. As HUMSS students, we were assigned to visit dull and tedious museums—that's why I   refrained myself from anticipating. That's what I thought. Not until we arrived to our second destination—the Metropolitan Museum. Covered with crystal clear glass and squeaky clean tiles that you can already see your reflection. This museum, in my most honest opinion, was the highlight of the trip. If you're an art enthusiast, I would highly recommend you to visit the Metropolitan Museum. It is a home for aesthetically-pleasing artworks that will definitely satisfy your eye. The tour will offer you an exclusive privilege to witness the evolution of Filipino art. Unfortunately, the only downside of the museum is that taking photos, even without flash, is prohibited. ...
